Most pupils enter Royal Ambassadors International College in JSS1. However, later entry is possible in JSS2, SS1 and SS2 subject to the availability of a place. As a very standard school we are proud to provide the highest possible standard of education to our students enabling them to compete in an increasingly competitive environment. Prospective students will be evaluated to asses their suitability and academic potential.
Admission is at the school’s discretion and the school’s decision is final. However, unsuccessful applicants may apply again at a later date if they believe they will perform better at the entrance examinations.
Applying to sit the entrance examination is the first step to gaining admission into Royal Ambassadors. Before an applicant can be considered for admission, the following steps must be followed:
1. Application
Apply Online or pick up application form from School Reception.
Parents of applicants are to fill and submit a completed application from online along with other documents such as photocopy of original birth certificate and recent passport photography of their ward. Alternatively, a completed copy of the admission form can be submitted at the school reception.
2. Submission
Submit the below documents on or before entrance examination date
The following documents are required to be submitted for a successful application; candidate’s recent school result, copy of candidate’s birth certificate, evidence of payment for application, recent passport photograph of candidate.
3. Examination
Applicants will write an entrance examination into their chosen grade.
Prospective students are required to take an entrance examination. We also conduct an informal interview with the students and parent which forms part of the overall assessment. Selection is based strictly on the performance of the student in the Entrance Examination and subsequent interview.
4. Admission
Provisional admission is made to all successful candidates.
Upon success at the entrance examination, an offer letter will be issued. To accept the admission offer, parents are expected to return the fully completed acceptance form accompanied by evidence of payment of the registration fee secure or guarantee a place.
