Admission Criteria
As a very standard school we are proud to provide the highest possible standard of education to our students enabling them to compete in an increasingly competitive environment.
The need for us to maintain this standard demands not just that teaching method are appropriate to the needs of our students but that those students, in turn, are able to demonstrate that they have the potential or ability to achieve the levels we require. Admission will bit be based on ethnic, religious or social grounds.
As many students transfer from various curricula, prospective students are required to take an entrance examination, we also conduct an informal interview with the students and parent which form part of the overall assessment.
Admission is at the school discretion and the school’s decision is final. However, unsuccessful applicants may apply again at a late date if they believe they will perform better at the entrance examinations.
Before an applicant can be considered for admission, the following procedure must be followed.
- Step 1: Obtain an application package (N10,000) with forms to be completed
- Step 2: Return or submit completed application form alongside other documents such as i. Photocopy of academic record ii. Photocopy of original birth certificate iii. Two (2) recent passport photographs
- Step 3: Decide when it is convenient to take the assessment and inform the school. Students must sit for the entrance examination
- Step 4: A brief interview of about 30 minutes conducted by the principal with the candidates and parents in attendance (where possible) is part of our assessment process
- Step 5: An offer of provisional admission is made to a successful candidate pending the payment of the acceptance fees
- Step 6: A non-refundable acceptance fee has to be paid by the date indicated on the admission/offer letter in order to secure or guarantee a place
